RUSSIAN Tissue Forceps
Russian Tissue Forceps are precision surgical instruments with broad, flat tips designed for handling delicate tissues. Their serrated surface ensures a firm grip without causing tissue damage during procedures.
Description:
- Material: Typically made from stainless steel, ensuring durability, resistance to corrosion, and ease of sterilization.
- Design: The tips are slightly curved, with broad, round ends that provide a secure yet non-traumatic grip. The handles are often ergonomic for ease of use during lengthy procedures.
- Size & Variation: Available in different sizes (such as 6″, 7″, or 8″) to suit various surgical needs and anatomical areas.
Usage: Russian tissue forceps are commonly used in:
- General surgery: For holding tissues during dissection or suturing.
- Ophthalmic surgery: To handle delicate eye tissues with precision.
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery: For delicate manipulation of skin and soft tissues.
- Obstetrics and gynecology: In procedures requiring delicate handling of tissues during childbirth or surgery.
These forceps are designed to handle tissues gently yet securely, preventing excessive trauma to the tissues while maintaining a stable grip during surgical procedures. They are especially useful in situations where other forceps might be too aggressive or cause damage to fragile tissue structures
